My Joy 88.9, unlike many other Christian stations, is not funded by listener donations, or a designated ministry; instead we are funded by churches, businesses, and organizations who "underwrite" programming on My Joy.  Underwriting is almost like advertising, except that the announcements are not allowed to have a "direct call to action."  We can only provide information, however, that can be done in a fun, compelling way.

Underwriting included announcements adjacent to weather forecasts and news bulletins, hourly underwriting, announcement informing listeners of events and festivals, "salutes" to various groups and holidays, and so forth.  Contact Mike Stankovic, My Joy's Underwriting Account Executive.  Underwriting is surprisingly inexpensive, and is a very good way to not only support our ministry at My Joy, but let our listeners know about your business, church, or event.
